Research Seminars and Master’s theses
Each student in the Department of European Political and Governance Studies writes a Master’s thesis, an original piece of work between 16,000 and 24,000 words, in French or English.
Professors supervise students for their Master’s thesis (15 ECTS) In the framework of the research seminars.
In October, professors of the research seminars present their respective seminars, and in mid-November students make their selection. Students then have a series of individual interviews with the professor and the academic assistant as the semester progresses, as well as methodological support. After the completion of the thesis, a defense session is held.
